Product DescriptionsSoft Surface ProductsICT designs raw materials for soft surface cleaning that are optimized to provide powerful cleaning properties without rapid resoiling and will impart anti-soiling properties to cleaned surfaces. ICT’s dispersant polymer technologies are self encapsulating and leave behind residues that actually enhance the stain and soil resistance of cleaned surfaces. Additionally, these products enhance cleaning by providing detergency and anti-redeposition to the cleaning formulation. For soft surface protection, ICT offers a wide range of water, water/co-solvent, and solvent soluble or dispersible fluorinated resins used to protect soft surfaces from oil, alcohol and water based stains and soils (i.e. cooking oils, body oils, wine, foodstuffs, Kool Aid®). Unlike silicone resins that provide protection from only water-based stains and impart a gloss that alters the appearance of the treated surface, ICT’s fluorinated resins provide a broad spectrum of repellency (oil, alcohol and water) and dry to an invisible barrier with no sheen or gloss, maintaining the original appearance and feel of the treated surface. Silicone oils tend to attract oily soils and dry soils that can cause rapid resoiling making them a poor choice for most soft surface protectors and sealers. ICT fluorinated resins will repel oily soils and dry soils making them ideal for anti-resoiling, oil repellent soft surface protection products. End use formulations are suitable for multiple markets including commercial, retail, and industrial applications. ICT offers cleaning, conditioning and protection products (surface modifiers) for all types of soft surfaces including apparel, upholstery, carpet, leather and paper products. Flexiclean CC-307Carpet/Rug/Apparel/Upholstery ProductsFunctionalized, dispersant polymer that is combined with builders, co-solvents and/or chelates to produce water-based, non-tacky, encapsulating carpet and upholstery cleaners. End-use products impart anti-soiling and stain resist properties to cleaned surfaces. Spotters, traffic lane cleaners, spin bonnet, low moisture and extraction cleaners are all readily formulated from this product. Formulations are readily certifiable via the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Seal of Approval program. In addition, excellent antistatic properties are imparted with as little as 0.25% on weight of fabric because Flexiguard FR-42 is a very effective, anionic antistat. Ideal to produce a stand-alone acid rinse that is non-hygroscopic and reduces wick-back/yellowing while neutralizing residual alkalinity. Unlike common acids used as acid rinses, this product enhances soil and stain resistance while other acids (such as acetic, glycolic, sulfuric, citric and phosphoric) decrease or eliminate this built in feature of OEM carpets.
