Product DescriptionsFlexipel Q-50Specialty ProductsAdditional Specialty ProductsAn aqueous, water stable, reactive silane that readily dissolves in water to produce durable surface modification products. This product imparts antistatic properties, lubricity, water repellency and softness to most substrates. Imparts a durable coating that creates a repellent surface that will resist staining and odors. Can be used to manufacture glass and other hard surface protectors and cleaners that create a surface with greatly reduced coefficient of friction to reduce propensity of the surface to scratch while hiding scratches and imperfections (this makes glass and mirrors appear more brilliant by reducing refraction). When used in automotive windshield glass protectors or cleaning solutions, the glass will bead water and the water drops will skate off the windshield while driving for greatly enhanced visibility.
